Review Speed: 2.0 | Submission Hit Rate: 25.0 Experience Share: The work of identifying virulence genes, before submitting a manuscript, check the data published on the website. The average time from submission to publication in 2017 is three months. Submitted on January 15, 2018; First review came back on February 12, 2018; Revised on February 15, 2018; Accepted on March 5, 2018. One reviewer did not provide much feedback, while the other made many comments, showing expertise. They requested two additional experiments: selecting healthy individuals for serum resistance and conducting a superantigen identification experiment using monkey PBMCs. However, they also suggested pointing out the lack of exploration in this area in the manuscript. If those two experiments could have been done, I would not have submitted to IJMM, so I promptly decided not to conduct the experiments and withdrew the submission. Personally, I found the difficulty level to be moderate, and as long as there is innovation, it is worth considering. The efficiency is indeed very high, and it is expected that the impact factor for 2017 will slightly increase
