This journal is regarded as the top journal in the field of mechanical manufacturing. I look at the impact factor in 2019, it is more than 8, which is very high among mechanical journals. The characteristic is that it is fast and the rejection rate is extremely high. We had only one accepted in our research group, and it was in mid-2016. In recent years, the articles are basically rejected, including two of my own. I just received the notice of rejection today, and I don’t understand it. I see that the same type of articles published this year are just normal. Why mine is rejected? Articles on manufacturing are usually sent to the editor-in-chief, Dragos Axinte. It is basically that that article is submitted at night, and the notice of rejection will be received when you wake up in the next morning. The efficiency is extremely high, and it is extremely ruthless. You can have a try if you feel that what you wrote is good, and it doesn’t waste any time.

IJMTM does not progress manuscripts that deal only with modelling without having experimental validations that are related to the simulated process. What I do is numerical calculation, and Other people’s experiments have been verified, but it feels like you must do your own experiment to be qualified to submit to the journal.
