Reviewed 2025-04-30 08:07:17 Yes, dear peers, you read it correctly. It has been a total of 6 months from submission to rejection, with no review comments and no peer review! I contacted the editor during the three-month mark and was told that it was already in peer review, but before the May Day holiday, this editor dropped a bombshell. There is a discrepancy between the progress shown in one system for submission and another for tracking manuscripts.
