This journal is very fast for review and acceptance, but something strange happened to me. My paper was accepted at the end of May this year, and the page fee was paid at that time. At the end of the year, my supervisor was going to claim for the expenses and needed them to issue a proof of sample manuscript. However, they replied to my email saying that they reviewed my paper again, and rejected it because they felt it was not innovative enough. It is too speechless. The three reviewers were selected by their editorial office, and two said that this method was very novel and had not been seen in other papers. I have put this journal on the blacklist. So angry!

I submitted it on June 26. Major revision was given on August 11. (There were two reviewers; the comments were detailed.) I submitted the revision on September 2, the second reviewer did not review the manuscript for a long time during the period. I contacted the editor and found a third reviewer. Minor revision was required on December 31. I hadn’t received the news for a long time after submitting the revision on January 5. (Ashamed!) Minor revision was required again on March 13. I submitted the revised manuscript again on March 14. It was accepted on March 25.

Is open-source journal so amazing? It's been four months since I submitted my article and no one has handled it. I decided to withdraw it without hesitation.

The article was initially submitted in October 2019 and underwent three major revisions until January 2021. The responsible editor was Lino Marques. The reviewers were prompt in their feedback, but the editor's response time became slower with each revision. The first revision took about 2 months, the second revision took 3 months, and the third revision took 6 months (despite my repeated reminders, stating that I would withdraw the submission if no feedback was given). Both reviewers stated that there were no issues and the article could be accepted, but the editor raised multiple questions for further improvement. The third revised version was submitted on January 8, 2021, but has not been reviewed for two months, and I have not received any response to my emails. On March 10, I decided to withdraw the submission. This journal has now been blacklisted.
