A clinical article on primary immunodeficiency cases, which I polished and also had a postdoc who had stayed abroad for many years help me with revision. The key experience is to target the right audience, make sure they are interested, and only submit the article when there are no major errors left to correct, then it will be accepted quickly. If I hadn't been in a rush to graduate, I wouldn't have submitted to this journal. But when you need your article, it's worth considering

There is a link for you to step by step choose, I always choose the free option, and at the final settlement page, it says 0 euros, I couldn't believe it myself, even checked it over and over again to make sure it's really free before submitting, haha. The editors are quite meticulous, although my article was polished by a proofreading company in the UK for writing style, expression, and format according to the requirements of two very skilled teachers for publishing articles, the editorial staff still pointed out subtle formatting errors. Overall, the submission experience was very pleasant, just a little disappointed to see the impact factor has decreased in recent years

This magazine is very strange. Clearly, the order of authors in the submission version and revised version is the same, with the corresponding author listed last. However, after acceptance, the online version unexpectedly listed the corresponding author as the first author, and the original first author became the second author.
