It took more than two years to do one, and almost at the same time, the classmates in the adjacent laboratory who were working on AI training models had already published three or four papers in top conferences. However, I still feel that the value of TRO is quite high, after all, not many people have both TRO and IJRR. It may not be as impressive once the top conferences become oversaturated with papers.

After submitting, it took nearly half a year for the first round of reviews, with four reviewers who seemed to have examined the paper very carefully and provided many suggestions. It took another two months to conduct experiments and revise the paper based on their feedback, which significantly improved the quality. The second round of reviews took about three months, with the addition of a new reviewer by the editor. The reviewers confirmed that the previous feedback had been addressed and overall the paper was in good shape, but they raised some new concerns. The editor gave a conditional accept, and after making the necessary revisions, the paper was finally accepted.

In comparison to previous submissions that were occasionally dismissed as being published in top journals with little effort, TRO is truly a top-tier journal.
