It depends on the editor. I submitted a manuscript to TAES before, major revision was given in the first review, and it was rejected in the second review. It took more than one year. Later, I transferred the manuscript to IEEE Trans. It took more than one year for the manuscript to be accepted. The characteristic of this journal is that it is extremely slow. The teachers and students around me who have published long articles on this journal; their review cycle was 1.5 to 3 years, whether they were major in control or navigation. So, you should be cautious when submitting manuscripts. There are not many two years to wait in life.

Submitted in late January, major revision in late May, after submission in late June, the status has been repeatedly switching between "awaiting reviewer assignment" and "awaiting reviewer selection".
