After a major revision of three months, the article was submitted on June 4, 2023. A request for major revisions was received on July 19, 2023. The revised version was submitted on October 18, 2023, and underwent a minor revision. Finally, the article was accepted on December 18, 2023, and was published on January 6, 2024

First, the deputy editor emails multiple potential reviewers (3-6) with the abstract attached to inquire if they are willing to review. If someone agrees, the manuscript is sent to them. If there are more than 2 reviewers, this round is okay. If there is only one reviewer or none willing to review, the deputy editor will need to invite another round (3-6), which takes longer time.
However, once a reviewer accepts, they are expected to return their review within 2-4 weeks. In reality, the process of inviting reviewers takes a much longer time than 2-4 weeks
