Let me share one of my experiences. Submitted at the end of October 2018, through major revision at the end of December, and minor revision during the second review at the end of January 2019. In April, the editor sent an email to accept the manuscript, and I just sent the final manuscript back today. Although the process was very difficult, I have to say that the journal editor and the reviewers’ comments are indeed in-depth! This is my first article with impact factor more than 3, and I hope there will be more articles in the future.

A very good journal. My previous submit there often, and had an acceptance rate of 50%. The journal usually gave a reply in 8 weeks. The reviewer comments were in-depth, but in the end did not require us to write the paper to the most perfect state. However, it is still difficult to answer some questions.

Sharing the general submission process for my FWB:
First review takes about 3 months, major revisions;
Second review takes 2 months, minor revisions;
Third review takes about half a month, minor revisions;
Return for revisions three times, accepting revisions for about half a month;
The main focus of the third revision is grammar polishing provided by the editors. Overall, this journal is very good, with professional opinions from the reviewers and editors, the only downside is that it's a bit slow
