Neuroscience is an old and rigorous journal with relatively high acceptance. Two major revisions were made, with very few additional experiments; one minor revision was made; and after two minor revisions focusing on one point, the story finally came full circle, luckily, and was eventually accepted. The master's stage ended smoothly with 7 (joint) first author papers, celebrating and commemorating the completion.
