The review process was very fast, with responses coming back in about half a month. I submitted my paper in April and it was accepted in August. I have to give credit to the journal for that. After four rounds of revisions, the external reviewer rejected my paper. Because the feedback was unreasonable, I wrote an appeal letter. The journal then conducted a comprehensive evaluation of my paper and ultimately accepted it. It turns out that some external reviewers were biased. I clarified the issues during the revision process, but they still showed bias. I even filed a complaint with the journal!
