Even if accepted, articles in the "on hold" status will not be published. Accepted articles will only be held at the magazine until the status is resolved. However, journals in the "on hold" status are often eventually removed from SCI, with only a few passing the review process. Don't wait any longer, withdraw your submission and submit it elsewhere.
