Submitted in July last year, the first review lasted for 7 months; it took 2 months to revise and then it was sent for the second review, which lasted for another 2 months, and we spent 5 days to revise and then it was sent for the third review. Another 2 months passed, the opinion hasn’t returned yet, and I really can’t stand it anymore. I asked about the status and they responded quickly. Then I waited for half another one month. I was really anxious for graduation. I hope there will be a good result!

It is finally accepted. Let me share you the submission experience, and hope I can help you. I submitted it in July last year; the opinions of first review were given. It took four months for the second review after the revision finished. A months later, minor revision was required. 13 days after revision, it was accepted. 1. The requirements of language are high for the journal, and the review cycle is very long (for the large number of articles published). 2. The editor is very nice and replies the email quickly. It is my first SCI article. I spend a hard time. Hope that the journal will get better and better in the future.

Submitted on February 4th, submitted for review on February 15. Major revision was notified on the April 27th. The two reviewers and deputy editor gave a total of more than 40 opinions. Revision submission on June 1st, and one opinion was notified on July 18th requiring for minor revisions. They were revised back on July 19th and accepted on July 20th. The comments from the reviewers and deputy editor were very pertinent, ranging from the writing to the structure of the paper and grammatical errors.

This may depend on the reviewer's habits. My questions were not given in bullet points, but the reviewer asked questions based on each of my subheadings. However, many of the questions were actually repetitive. I responded point by point to 14 questions, but many of them were repetitive in content and questioning. The reviewer did not ask any questions about the experimental methods section. PS I only have one reviewer.
