Sharing the experience of submitting to EMBO J:

Submitted on May 26, 2022, and sent for review three days later. After one month, the review comments were returned to the editorial department. The opinions of all three reviewers were very professional. The first reviewer provided many constructive suggestions, while the other two reviewers had a more positive view. After comprehensive consideration, the editorial department provided a six-month opportunity for major revisions.

The article was revised on January 15, 2023, and received the revision comments 20 days later. After minor revisions, an acceptance email was received on February 27.

In summary, the efficiency of the editorial department is very high, and they are extremely friendly.
