First review: submission on November 14, 2019; First review result results received on December 26, 2019. Four reviewers, requiring a major revision. Two of the reviewers’ comments were very helpful, another one didn’t understand me too much, and the other one asked for more experiments. On the whole, the reviewer's comments were not difficult to respond, and the revision was submitted after half a month with the supplementary test. Second review: submission on January 13, 2020. Second review result returned on February 10, 2019. All four reviewers said that the revision was very good, and there were no other comments. It was finally accepted. I feel that the managing editor from Singaporean was very responsible and found the reviewer very quick. The editor was assigned one day after submission at the first review, and the reviewer was found within 6 days. So the review was fast.

The second reviewer asked many questions, and editor requested moderate revisions. Everyone’s questions were carefully answered. A lot of simulations, data, and references were added into the manuscript and revised manuscript was returned and submitted at the end of October 2019. The second review: from the end of October 2019 to middle of December 2019, there were still the same three reviewers in the first review. The first reviewer agreed to accept the manuscript, and the second one still had three questions. The third reviewer had a question about the format, and the editor requested minor revision. Each reviewer’s questions were carefully answered, especially the second reviewer’s questions. And revised manuscript was returned and submitted at the end of December 2019. The third review: From the end of December 2019 to the beginning of January 2020, the three reviewers all stated that they had no problems and the editors agreed to accept it. First of all, this was the second time to be accepted by EPSR, and I was very happy. I have two comments for the journal: one is that the EPSR review speed is not bad, and the second is that the reviewers are very professional and put forward many valuable opinions.

The review speed is very slow. It stayed in the editor’s hands for a month, and then another two months in the reviewers’ hand, then reviewer’s comments returned and it was rejected directly. Of the three reviewers, the first one offered a few comments requiring minor revisions; the second was more serious and gave some comments on the technical content, with a mild tone; the third reviewer’s comments were unbelievable! He didn’t even look at it carefully. All the problems mentioned were that I did not mention this or that, and the tone was very bad, but in fact, everything was clearly stated in the article. The reviewer was too irresponsible. The editor might not carefully check whether the reviewer's comments were consistent with the actual situation, and when he saw that the third reviewer had such a bad opinion, he just rejected it. I was also shocked. Will not submit to it anymore. It’s a waste of time and they do not take it seriously.
