This journal doesn’t appear popular. The number of articles typically published in a year doesn’t exceed 50. Because of the small number of articles, I can't say how this journal is in terms of responsiveness or peer review. Computational Mathematics should be second to SIAM, Mathematics of Computation and other leading journals. In the second echelon, it should be better than JCAM and other journals, but who knows. My own article took a total of 9 months to be published (from submission to accepted). The time it was in review was actually only 5 months… so the rest of the time my paper just sat on the editor’s desk.
