The first review took eight months. After returning for revisions, the comments from one reviewer were considered positive, and the paper was carefully revised. However, it took another three months for the second review to come back, and surprisingly, a new reviewer was invited. The paper was rejected in the end. After ten months, it was rejected, despite receiving positive comments for revisions during the process. The journal has become increasingly inefficient and unreliable. It has lost all credibility.
