One of them was rejected over 4 months later (feeling extremely depressed), while the other one has been in peer review status for over 8 months. Finally, I received revision comments, and the revision process went smoothly. I made modifications according to the comments one by one, and a few days later, the article was accepted after 9 months of submission! It feels pretty good, this journal is just slow in reviewing, otherwise, it's fine! (Furthermore, I would like to complain about two things: 1. All revision comments and publication-related emails from this journal are only sent to the corresponding author, not to the first author, which is annoying; 2. The publication fee is really expensive, costing me $2965 for a case report! Although the publication fee is reimbursable, I still find it very expensive!
