A sad experience about this paper that published. In May, the first submission was directly rejected. After revision, it was re-submitted on August 15th. The editor-in-chief required us to change the recommended reviewers: different countries, different nationalities, two editorial boards, etc. After revision, it was re-submitted in early September. A few days later, it was under review. During the review process, the first review went through 7 months, and then major revision, 2 months to revise, half a month later, return for minor revision, 3 days to revise. And 4 days later, it was accepted. The reviewer opinions were very professional, and awesome, which greatly improved the quality of the paper. I have a feeling that this journal required the paper to have something new, especially writing clearly about the advantages compared to the existed methods.
