The manuscript was submitted in September 2018 when the journal was still in Q2. In August 2019, it was not sent it for review for a few months. I asked the editor and the editor forgot it. After minor revisions were required a month later. It was accepted in February 2020. But the journal has dropped to Q3. It makes me cry.

I submitted my manuscript to CVIU in November 2016 and didn’t receive any reviews until June 2017. Two reviewers recommended acceptance with minor revisions, and post-revisions my paper was accepted by the end of October. In general, the review period is mega slow. Honestly, any SCI journals that I’ve submitted to seem to be like this – SLOW SLOW SLOW. However, the reviewers are extremely professional and helpful. The reviewers were also reasonable.
