This journal is the oldest journal in the textile printing and dyeing industry. It is more than 120 years old and is included in the present SCI. The journal focuses on innovative research in the pre-treatment, dyeing, printing, and finishing of textiles.  It was formerly known as the Journal of the Society of Dyers and Colourists. In recent years, it has been renamed Coloration Technology, and the dyeing of non-textiles was also been included. However, the version for non-English speaking countries is more exclusive. The professional level of the reviewers is unquestionably high.
