Reviewed 2017-07-21 11:10:54 After an article is submitted, it will be checked by the editor first. If the editor feels that the article can be used, he will send the document on to the peer review process (2-3 reviewers) and for online public discussion and opinion collection. The peer review will return after about two months. It is currently visible on the Internet and opinions will be collected there for 3 months. After that, the editor will give his opinion, usually reject, accept, or change the document’s size. Reviewed 2023-02-17 11:34:25 EGU's open-access journals. After submission, the editors review the paper first, and then it is directly published on the discussion board (if not accepted, it may affect resubmission). Afterwards, reviewers are invited, and their feedback usually comes back quickly. There is a two-month period for revisions.
