I am conducting research on the combination therapy mechanism of leukemia. Overall, my innovation points are not sufficient but the experiments are solid. Submitted on April 17 and received comments on May 16: Reject and resubmit, but the system is open for revisions with a two-month revision period, later automatically extended to three months. The reviewer comments are acceptable as well. I checked online at that time and found that this journal is aiming to shorten the online submission time, so major revisions mean rejection and resubmission. Revised on August 8, received comments on September 5, need major revisions, but only one reviewer has comments, and additional data is needed. Revised on September 21 and accepted in principle on October 15. I was worried about the WB original issue at that time, but the editor did not ask for it. When I first submitted, there were two "awaiting editor recommendation" statuses, likely because one of the two initial reviewers had negative comments, and the editor thought the quality of the article was alright and then found another reviewer, who gave positive feedback. The editor was nice throughout the process

Submitted on 4.17, received review comments on 5.16, rejected and resubmitted, but was given access to the revision system, with a little over two months given. The review comments are acceptable, but there are still quite a few experiments to be done. Upon researching online, it seems that the journal may reject resubmissions for major revisions in order to shorten the review time online. This does not count as part of the overall review time. Revised on 8.8, received second review comments on 9.5, major revisions were requested with two months given, but both reviewers had no comments, only the first one had some experiments to add. Revised on 9.21, received third review comments on 10.15, minor revisions were requested within a month, which were only regarding formatting.
