This is a great journal in earthquake research. The review period is average (2-3 months for the first reviews). They do, however, have relatively high language requirements and the layout fee is expensive, especially for color figures.

Journal editors are serious and responsible, taking about 2 months to provide feedback after major revisions. They have high expectations for English writing, and the publication fee is a bit expensive. It is suitable for writing short articles

I submitted to this journal a total of four times because the paper was based on work done by foreign scholars, causing a conflict of academic interest with the original authors. 
The editor-in-chief Martin Mai had an extremely bad attitude, while the other reviewers agreed to publish it. 
After four rejections, I was asked to contact the original author privately to discuss the discrepancies between the paper's results and the original author's. However, the original author suggested that I falsify the data to match her results, and her suggestions were illogical. She also demanded that I include certain statements she requested before agreeing to publish. Is this what is considered an authoritative journal on engineering seismology? It's absolute rubbish

The editing process of the manuscript is very fast. After submission, the editor-in-chief and deputy editor provided a few suggestions for revision. After making the revisions, it was sent back and one of the two reviewers proposed minor revisions while an outsider rejected it. The editor-in-chief asked me to write an explanation regarding the rejection by the reviewer. After filing an appeal, two new reviewers were appointed. After one month, the manuscript was returned with minor revisions. It has been half a month since then, and it is still in the "with editor" status. I hope it can be processed as soon as possible and receive an acceptance email.

The publication fee is really expensive. I can't afford it.
