An article was just published in ACTA NEUROPATHOL. This journal has a quick review process; if a submission is rejected, authors will receive notification the next day, and around 80% of submissions are rejected on the next day. The review process is also fast; two of my three reviewers found the article to be excellent as is, with one providing about 10 suggestions. It took three months to make revisions, and the resubmission was accepted the next day
