A well-established EI journal in the field of artificial intelligence, with a citescore of 1 in Scopus, has seen a fast increase in the number of publications over the past two years, with nearly 200-300 articles annually. There is a high probability of being included in AHCI and SSCI next year.

Many professors from Oxford University, Stanford University, and MIT publish in this journal, which has a high quality. The majority of articles tend to be theoretical and philosophical, although there are also many empirical studies.

The review process of the journal is very fast. If the quality of the article is good, it will usually be sent for review in about two weeks, with the peer review process taking about a month. The results of the first round are usually minor revisions, which are completed in three days, before the status changes back to "editor assigned." Then, after about a week, the manuscript is sent back to the original two reviewers, who both agree to accept it, leading to the status changing to "reviews completed." Possibly due to the summer season, the feedback from the Associate Editor (AE) was a bit slower after the completion of the second round of reviews, with acceptance taking place after 10 more days.

As a journal under Springer, the response time may not be as quick as newer open access journals, but it is still acceptable. From submitting in early June to acceptance in early August, a total of two months, is already quite fast, especially considering there are no publication fees involved
