The language requirements are relatively high for BMC Immunology. The review period may not be as fast as other journals, so if you are hoping to publish quickly and/or the language of your article isn’t polished, I’d submit to a different journal.

4-16 submitted, 6-07 received initial review comments, major revisions, sent back after 14 days, 7-05 status changed to Reviewer reports received / Ready for editor's decision, now waiting for editor and reviewers. It took over a month to find the initial reviewer, but fortunately, the reviewer returned the comments quickly. Now patiently waiting for the outcome!
