BAB is very slow, and to learn anything about your manuscript status you must email the editor. Most manuscripts stay with the editor for one month before being sent out for review. We received our reviews 4 months after submission and were given 8 weeks to re-submit our revised manuscript. We had to request an extension because the reviewers’ comments were focused on the experiments, which took time. The entire process was time-consuming; we encountered some additional issues on their online submission system that stalled our manuscript in the publication process. In short, if you are not in a hurry and there is no other suitable journal for your study, I recommend submitting. However, if you are anxious or need a quick publication for graduation, this journal does not offer a reasonable timeline.
