The process was very slow. The article was submitted in February 2024, and after seven months of editing review, it was received for major revisions in early September 2024. After submitting the revisions at the end of the month, it was accepted without further external review in April 2025.

Except for the slow review process, everything else is fine. The well-known journal brand is trustworthy, but we do not recommend urgent submission. It takes one month to receive the initial review comments from four professional and scientific reviewers. The first revision is major, the second is minor, and the third does not require external review. Acceptance and payment notification will be sent within two years.

Although it was accepted for publication, the process was too slow. I submitted in June 23, and the editor's review took about half a month, which was fine. However, the first round of feedback didn't come until early November, with a minor revision request. I made the revisions on November 26, but then heard nothing back. It wasn't until June of the following year (2024) that I sent an email urging them to respond, and it took two days for them to finally accept the article. I strongly suspect that the associate editor had left, as it seemed like the editor only took action after receiving my email.
The feedback from the reviewers was also strange, with some having very minor suggestions and even suggesting acceptance, while others seemed to have not understood the article at all, rambling on and even questioning basic linear regression. However, the editorial team provided a language editing waiver, although it wasn't clear on what basis. The language editor didn't do much, but I was satisfied as it at least reduced the burden of proofreading.
Overall, I do not recommend submitting to this journal as the process is too slow and not particularly professional.

On the third day after being rejected, I received an invitation to serve as an academic editor... It feels like this journal just wants to deceive people into doing work.

The first review took more than six months, and received feedback from 8 reviewers. At first, it seemed like the journal was quite conscientious, but upon closer inspection, one of the reviews was only a short sentence, two reviews were clearly generic and likely generated by AI, and one review was completely irrelevant to the content of the paper. It seemed like the editor had not checked them before sending them out. After revisions, it took almost another half year of just being on the initial checklist, with a couple of reminders in between. Finally, less than a week after being marked as "in review", the paper was rejected. The reason given was that it was believed the paper did not fully address the feedback from the first reviewer (the one with the short sentence). Despite having previously reviewed for and worked as an academic editor for this journal in an effort to build credibility, the submission experience was not very pleasant.

Just been hired. I can only say that if you don't have at least a year and a half, don't expect to escape... It's normal to request reviews during the submission period. Based on my understanding of it, having you review it will actually point out no major issues with the article you submitted. I have reviewed many for them, and they don't actually require a long review time. It is their internal delay that causes the delay, possibly intentionally dragging out the time. Details unknown

Waited until October 30, suddenly given minor revisions, and the editor has changed. Submitted the revisions 15 days later, sent another email on January 3, 2024, and received a reply the same day saying they are waiting for the final opinions. Today is January 28, still waiting
