With the editor for one month, under review for three weeks, transfer after three weeks of RRC. 
During the with editor stage, the first editor left, after contacting customer service, the second editor was replaced two weeks later, who is a doctoral student in a different field.
During the under review stage, there were two reviewers, one major revision and one rejection. The reviewer who rejected the paper was very irresponsible and had a bad attitude, providing no constructive feedback. It was very disappointing, as this is not the standard one would expect from a top journal. The speed of the editor's handling and the attitude of the reviewers were far below those of other journals in the second to fourth quartile.
The journals that accept transfers are open access and indexed by EI, equivalent to a rejection.

I have also published in some top journals in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with much better reputation than AAP, but every time I submit to this journal, it is desk rejected. I just want to gather everyone's experiences and see if it's because my research direction doesn't quite fit the scope of this journal, or if the journal simply rejects submissions from outsiders
