Reviewed 2024-05-23 09:51:13 The review speed is acceptable, the process was quite proactive, it took 8 months and went through 3 revisions. The external review process is a bit strange, as it seems like different reviewers were assigned to each revision and their feedback was inconsistent. The decision on whether to make the article open access was only made after acceptance, which is good. It's a top journal in a niche field, but the impact factor is a bit low. I feel that some of the reviewer's opinions are not pertinent. Overall, although it is a top journal in a small field, it has very high formatting requirements.
