This journal is really slow, almost as slow as a snail. I have submitted so many times and most of them are under review for 1-3 days. The average review time on their website seems fast, but it's not the case. I have seen slow external reviews, slow RRCs, slow DIPs, but WE is really something else. I submitted on 6.08, with editor on 6.09, still WE on 6.12, and it's still WE now. It's been more than ten days, why hasn't the editorial team finished reviewing it? If it fits, just accept it; if it doesn't, reject it quickly and submit to another journal. The WE date has changed several times, but the status hasn't. What's going on? Has the journal become more prestigious and arrogant since it moved up to a top position?
