Here is my experience, just stating the facts. It takes about three months from Required Reviews Completed (RRC) to minor revisions for first review (note, minor revisions for first review). It takes about three months from RRC for second review to minor revisions for second review (feels like another round of review comments). Finally, it takes 2 months from Decision in Process to rejection, making the entire submission process nearly a year. I then immediately resubmitted to another reputable journal in the industry, and it took over three months from submission to acceptance.

Just look at the experiences of our peers below and you'll understand. If you want to submit to this journal, unless you're from Tongji University, the waiting period starts at one year. What's even more disgusting is that they might still reject you after a year. A senior fellow student from our department submitted for over a year without any response. After seeking help from someone with a bit of academic reputation, they inquired about it. Then, a shady move happened - without the reviewers even mentioning rejection, the editor directly rejected the submission. Of course, the decision-making power lies with the editor of the journal, but it's unclear whether rushing the process and offending a certain prestigious editor played a role in this outcome.
