Thanks to the associate editor Elyas Ghafoori, whose work efficiency is off the charts compared to some journals. I got my first SCI paper during my PhD, which took a total of 4 months. It went through 11 reviewers in the first round, with 3 accepting. After 2 reviewers completed their reviews, the third reviewer waited for over a month without responding, and the paper was directly given a major revision.

The whole process took 3 months, which is considered quite fast.
It took a long time to find reviewers, and only 2-3 out of over 20 reviewer invitations were accepted.
