How outrageous is this journal? It only publishes 30 articles a year, which is ridiculous, and mainly relies on a few editorial board members for submissions. If interested, you can search on Web of Science, enter the name of this journal, and then enter the number of articles published by several main editorial board members each year. Taking Zhang Jiujun, the editor-in-chief, as an example, he has published 4 articles in EER every year in recent years. This is definitely a journal based on personal connections. If you don't believe it, you can try it yourself. The quality of review journals on it is truly disappointing. With only a few articles published each year and the editorial board members citing themselves to boost the impact factor, not to mention the fact that they only accept reviews. There is still a long way to go for domestic journals.
