Cell Reports Physical Science, Cell Reports Medicine should be regarded as journals side by side with Cell Reports, and only under the Cell Reports series is iScience. Now that Cell Reports Physical Science cuts off iScience's manuscript source, it is more difficult for iScience to improve the impact factor.

Cell Reports is the sub-journal of Cell (Cell Reports is an open-access journal from Cell press).
