Basically, I didn't have to wait long for each round, and all three reviewers were quite friendly. Although they raised some tricky questions, they were fair and carefully edited, not making it too difficult for you. I can only say that compared to some irresponsible reviewers in TNNLS and TCYB who directly reject submissions, the reviewers here are much better... (Can't help but complain about TNNLS and TCYB again, just a special issue for the inner circle)
Overall, the submission experience was good, with good value for money. Hopefully, in the next three years, we can see TNES promoted to a top-tier journal.
