After agreeing to a transfer, I received review comments within about one month. There were about 20 comments from three reviewers, two minor revisions and one major revision. The questions asked were quite detailed. Someone requested to add several models to see the fitting effect. Someone was not satisfied with the characterization analysis. So the response letter was about three pages. In addition, there was also a Manuscript Formatting Request. We may say that the requirements for format were very strict. Let me correct the format again 20 days after the revised manuscript. So it is recommended that if you want to submit your manuscript to the journal, please format your manuscript per the articles online to avoid wasting time. During the proof stage, an edit trace was also included. It contained a very detailed modification of the sentence structure, grammar and even punctuation. It can be said to be a small polishing process. If the modification was uncertain, queries were placed ahead in the article, asking you to confirm that the modification was correct. When proofing, it was recommended to pay the publication fee, which was $750. ACS members have a discount. If there is no problem, the DOI will be distributed and it will be online within 7 days. The requirement for innovation was not very high. It took about two months from submission to publication. In addition, Stanley Whittingham, the winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, has published 3 articles here. Real-time IF in 2019 is 2.96. The number of articles published in the past two years is less than 4,000. I hope this journal could maintain it.
