Reviewed 2024-12-10 17:34:13 In January, I submitted to the main journal JMIR and paid over six thousand for expedited review. However, after a 3-month delay, they suggested transferring the submission to the JMIR Medical Informatics sub-journal after 3 rounds of revisions. I agreed to the transfer, and then 2 months later, the editor of JMIR Medical Informatics posed 80 questions, questioning nearly every sentence. It took me a full 2 months to consider each question and respond. The editor then raised 54 more questions, always asking why? Why did you do this? Do you have any reasons or basis for this?
