Submitted in early 2025, reviewed by 2+ reviewers, the third reviewer was slow to accept the review. The first round of results came out at the end of March, requiring major revisions. Returned for revisions in late April, and the reviewer took another half a month to accept the review. Finally completed the review in early June, edited by DIP for a week, and ultimately accepted. The review speed is really slow. What are these editors doing? If they are not willing to handle manuscripts, they shouldn't be AEs. For example, my boss is an IEEE editor and spends half an hour every day at a fixed time processing manuscripts, which is very efficient and timely.
