After 6 months of review, Archives of Rheumatology requested revisions and payment of a publication fee (£384). After payment, they did not respond to emails for 4 months, then unexpectedly requested that the manuscript be changed to a Letter to the Editor. Instead of transferring the submission, they asked for a new submission. After 2 months, the manuscript was rejected, and they did not refund the publication fee or respond to emails. This is outrageous and unprofessional. Be careful and avoid submitting to this journal.

As long as the journal can maintain its SCI source, that's all that matters. If the school starts using CiteScore to calculate, then there's nothing to worry about. On one hand, CiteScore includes a wider range of journals, so this journal is definitely included.
