1.3 Submission; 2.23 Review comments and revisions; accepted today (3.11). I am not a staff member of the Rice Research Institute and have no conflicts of interest.
It is likely influenced by the excellent journal program, and domestic journals are doing well in all aspects.

The speed is still very fast. Usually, there is news within a month. The first update took a month, then went through a major revision for two weeks, and then another month to make the final draft. After that, it was edited and went online, all communicated in Chinese. It's very nice because understanding English often requires guessing for a long time, but Chinese is more straightforward.

After reading the comments on this journal, which all said it was very slow, I decided to give it a try with a trial mindset.
To be honest, my submission speed was actually quite fast this time.
I submitted it on January 3rd and it was already reviewed and completed on February 10th. Now it is in the "Awaiting ED recommendation" status.
I am just an ordinary university student, not affiliated with a rice institute. My personal experience is only for reference.

People outside invested about 2-4 months, and they wanted me to draw the graphs using Excel, which I said I couldn't do.
