It’s true that the journal’s review speed was fast, and it’s also absolutely true that the journal has a strong demand for manuscripts, or it will not accept all the papers. But the quality of the paper, I really disagree. My junior male fellow’s paper was submitted to this journal (his paper was really not good). After sending for review, the reviewer was quite serious and responsible, who directly pointed out all the problems of the paper, including the low innovation and the fundamental problems of the theory. There were about dozens of reviewers’ comments. The reviewers were really responsible, and they must have read the article carefully for the questions they asked were really convincing. The problem was that with a proposal for rejection of the manuscript, the editor still requested a major revision, which was really a situation I have never seen before. What’s more, because there were too many reviewers’ comments and fundamental problems have been raised, some of these comments cannot be answered at all. The junior summed up a few replies symbolically, and submitted them without a point-to-point response. The revised submission was accepted directly the next day, without even sending for the second review. I can’t say that all the papers included were bad, but this experience shows that this journal is either short of articles or lack of money. But no matter what it is, if you want to be better in the future, you should perform more formally!
