The submission process was extremely outrageous, but the contact editor was very nice, replying to emails and messages promptly. The first reviewer completed the review in less than a month, but the second and third reviewers may never be in place, until the second month. I received a major revision and a rejection. The editor gave me a chance for major revision.
Then something bizarre happened. After the revision, 6 pages were added! From 16 pages it became 22 pages, with an additional 5-page appendix adding all the steps that could be introduced. The reviewer who was given a major revision then said he looked at my work and felt that I had no intention or action on his suggestions.
I replied to the editor asking what the hell he meant by no intention, I added so many new experiments and new test data, was everything just a waste?
The most outrageous thing happened, the editor didn't know what to do, the editor-in-chief directly sent me an email rejecting the paper. A coward's move, direct rejection, system shutdown. Extremely outrageous, venting to people around me and classmates from other schools, no one has ever seen such a disgusting operation before.
I suggest avoiding it, as I have recently heard that they are rejecting papers mindlessly because they were dissed. I submitted before being dissed, but what happened during the review process led to this.
A waste of nearly 3 months, truly speechless. I highly recommend not submitting there!
