I don’t know how long is the deadline for reviewer of this journal? Of the 3 reviewers, 2 agreed to accept it, and I was waiting for the remaining one’s opinion. It delayed a few months only for this reviewer. The email reply was basically that the reviewer didn’t give an opinion, and the journal had no way. I asked whether they can change the reviewer, they said that because the manuscript was revised and returned, the reviewer could not be changed, and so on. If nothing else, the delay of this journal really made me speechless.

The submission was made in March, sent for external review in April, and the review was completed in July. During this period, we were constantly looking for reviewers. Reviewer 1 agreed to publish, while Reviewer 2 provided major revisions that seemed to be generated by AI. We made the revisions as requested, but strangely Reviewer 2 withdrew from the review process. It took another month to find Reviewer 3, who delayed the process by half a month. Reviewer 3 suggested rejection due to lack of uploaded charts and tables, as well as confusing grammar and layout. Four days later, the editor-in-chief issued a rejection notice citing language issues. The reviewers of this journal were unfriendly and the editor-in-chief was unprofessional. All sorts of absurd things happened, it was simply ridiculous.
