Además, REN forma parte de la Federación de Revistas Neurológicas en Español, existiendo un acuerdo mutuo de cooperación entre todas las publicaciones que forman dicha Federación. Su primera edición impresa fue en 1992 y se encuentra disponible en versión online a partir de la edición de 1999.
