Just submitted my paper for peer review on 20 Nov 2023. It's been a month and I'm not sure if it's really being reviewed. I don't want to ask during the holiday season, and after reading the comments below, I'm even more hesitant to send an email asking haha. Anyway, fingers crossed!

The journal is very efficient, especially the editors who handled the manuscript quickly. The opinions given by the three reviewers were very professional and helpful for improving the quality of the article. The speed of the journal is the main highlight, with the submission process taking only three days, all reviewer comments received within a month, and one month given for revisions. The article was accepted after the first revision. It was corrected and published online within a week. It's really fast even though it's not an open-access journal. I am very grateful for the help of the journal's editors and reviewers and hope the journal will continue to improve! The submission went through two rounds of technical review before being accepted. After acceptance, the Editor was appointed on Aug 17, and today is Sept 23. 
I emailed a week ago, received a response three to four days later, stating that a reminder had been sent to the editor, but there has been no further communication since then.
I plan to send a letter next week to request withdrawal of the submission.

Major repairs, minor repairs, hiring; the review process is very long, taking almost three months; it takes another month to review major repairs; from submission to publication, it takes about one year.
