I really like this journal; I’ve submitted manuscripts a couple of times. Yesterday my most recent submission was accepted. It took one month to receive reviews from two peer reviewers; the reviews always improve the quality my manuscripts. The overall efficiency of Atherosclerosis is high and the comments of the reviewers are always constructive and professional. Unfortunately, the impact factor dropped below 4 this year.
