This is the journal with the highest impact factor in veterinary medicine. The recently released impact factor for 2011 has exceeded 4.0 (quite high for journals in the veterinary field). I first submitted my paper to Vaccine (IF=3.77) and it was Rejected. Then I thought I’d just try this journal, why not. Unexpectedly, all four reviewers asked for only minor revisions. I received the editor's acceptance note only one week after resubmitting the revised paper. Then, after several revisions of the language and format, it was officially accepted four months after my initial submission.
