Reviewed 2022-06-30 17:03:19 Posted in October 2020, accepted in June 2022, revised six times... Besides the fact that the paper is over 40 pages long, there were about 60 pages of revisions alone. Among the reviewers was a top expert in the field from Germany, who continuously pointed out various details in a very rigorous manner. Although the journal is ranked as a 2nd-tier journal and publishes less than 30 articles per year, with Chinese researchers never submitting (only 3%), I feel that this submission experience has brought me many more meaningful things. Overall, the rigor of the reviewers is higher than many 1st-tier journals, suitable for peaceful authors but not for the current Chinese academic evaluation system.
